First Day - Good Friday
This Easter weekend, London is the place to be. Good Friday on the 10th April is the perfect time to discover the spectacular ecclesiastical architecture and interiors of London's churches, such as Southwark Cathedral and Westminster Abbey. Head to Trafalgar Square to watch an unforgettable Passion Play, a 90-minutes open-air production with screens for enhanced visibility which is completely free. There are two performances of 'The Passion of Jesus', the first at noon and a later one at 3.15 pm. If you feel like buying some Easter treats, the covered Canopy Market at King's Cross is highly recommended.
Second Day - Easter Saturday
Easter Saturday, which falls on 11th April, is a good time to ensure you have all the Easter eggs you need for the big day itself. Luckily, London is home to some of the world's finest chocolatiers, such as Melt or Le Jeune Chocolatiers.
If you have children, why not take them on an Easter egg hunt? Ham House is worth a trip into nearby Hertfordshire for the Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt which is free to National Trust Members. After a morning spent rushing around after yummy eggs, you'll all be ready for a delicious afternoon tea at Heston Hyde (reservations must be done in advance, here)
Third Day - Easter Sunday
If you are looking for things to do in London on Easter weekend, treat yourself to an Easter Sunday Brunch in London. Kaspar’s at The Savoy and The Blues Kitchen Brixton are very popular venues for those staying in the capital on Easter city breaks. Or you could book a table in a traditional pub for Easter Sunday lunch in London. We love The Alfred Tennyson, The Harwood Arms or at Simpson's in the Strand, although the latter is a restaurant. Riverside pubs are always a great choice - after a traditional Easter Sunday meal of succulent roast lamb with all the trimmings, what could be nicer than a stroll along the River Thames?
Fourth Day - Easter Monday
On Easter Monday on 13th April, you could make the most of the bank holiday by booking tickets to a matinee or evening show in a West End theatre.
If the weather is fine this Easter weekend in London, welcome the spring by exploring London's parks and green spaces where the daffodils will be looking their best. Head back to the hotel and unwind in our swimming pool, sauna and gym before going back to work.
If you are looking for other things to do in London this Easter weekend, it's worth checking our other attractions this spring.

Stay with us and make your winter warmer!
If you are thinking of enjoying some London winter holidays, then you will have no shortage of exciting and thought-provoking events. To give you an idea of what kind of winter events London has to enjoy, here is our quick run-down of some of the top attractions running over the festive season...
When it comes to winter pastimes, one pursuit that can really get your blood running is ice skating. The Natural History Museum in South Kensington has a public ice rink open until January 12, where you will be able to skate against a backdrop of Alfred Waterhouse's buildings. Alternatively, you could try skating on the dry moat at the Tower of London, which has been converted into a skating rink until January 5. Just the place if you want to have some fun in the midst of London’s history.
The festive season is a time of colour and spectacle, and if you want to make the most of that, then the ‘Wave’ at Eccleston Yards will be one of the more appealing winter events London has to offer. This display, running until January 11, comprises 500 glowing orbs suspended in the air, offering a truly fantastic sight. For something more active, you could take part in the Yule Jog Christmas Lights Running Tour, taking place across various well-lit locations until December 23.
The winter celebrations don't end with Christmas. When New Year's arrives, visitors to London will have the opportunity to ring in the new decade with the New Year’s Day Parade occurring across various locations in the city. The parade includes more than 8,500 performers -- from dancers and cheerleaders, to marching bands and even Pearly Kings and Queens -- who represent 20 different participating countries.
If you are looking for indoor attractions that excite the mind, perhaps you could visit one of the art exhibitions taking place in London this winter. The National Portrait Gallery's Pre-Raphaelite Sisters exhibition, running until January 26, celebrates the artists Christina Rossetti, Effie Gray Millais and ten other women who brought a new fantasy and romance to the art world.
